What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are
BGA Club is run by Jacquie Hale and David Butler. We meet once a month in Birmingham and in Hertfordshire.
You can reach us at hello@bga.club or on 0121 517 0822. Our address is Office 16, Croxley Green, 206 New Road, Rickmansworth, WD3.
What we collect, and when
If you fill in the application form, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, postal address, which location suits you, and what you write about your business.
We ask for a postal address so we can send things to you. We ask for the rest so a coach can have a sensible conversation with you before anybody joins.
If you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email address and your message. Nothing else.
If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.
There is no newsletter sign-up, no account to create, and nothing following you around other websites.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored in this website’s own database and emailed to hello@bga.club, which reaches both Jacquie and Dave. Nobody else sees them.
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Our email runs on Google Workspace. If you book a call with Dave, that booking is handled by LeadConnector. Our members’ community runs on Circle, and only members have accounts there. If you join, payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
Each of those companies processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we never will.
How long we keep it
If you apply and join, we keep your details for as long as you are a member and for six years afterwards, because HMRC requires us to keep business records that long.
If you apply and do not join, or you only ever send us a question, we delete what you sent after twelve months.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people actually read. It tells us things like how many people arrived from the QR code on our booklet. It does not tell us who you are.
Nothing is set until you agree to it. When you first arrive you are asked, and analytics stays switched off unless you say yes. You can change your mind at any time, and if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as a no automatically.
Beyond that, the site sets only the cookies WordPress and our caching software need to make pages load properly. There are no advertising cookies.
Our cookie policy lists every cookie in detail.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@bga.club and we will deal with it within a month, usually much faster.
If you think we have handled your information badly and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
